End of August

 

Kellen's bucket for band this year - So cool!

Thursday, August 20th - Baked my first pecan pie for Mima's birthday dinner.

Friday, August 21st - First football game on the second day of school!

Meanwhile, in Lubbock - Goin' Band first game day rehearsal

Saturday, August 22nd - Color Dance!

Sunday, August 23rd - Goin' Band formed the white outline of the Double T for the largest ever Freshman class.

Jenna finished her cross stitch to complete the gallery wall above her bed. And, first day of Sophomore year - August 24th.

Sunday, August 30th - Kevin and Kellen enjoyed playing for the traditional service at church. Kellen and his friends had fun doing their fantasy football picks. And Jenna meal prepped sheet pan steak fajitas.

Thursday, August 20th - First day Sophomore year for Kellen. So nice that he can ride with Madilyn again - her Senior year!

Jenna's First Apartment

 

Tuesday, August 11th - Jenna, Kellen, and I packed up and headed to Lubbock to move Jenna in to her first apartment for her Sophomore year at Texas Tech. And, then all too soon it was Thursday, August 13th and time to leave. Kellen got some driving hours in on the way there and on the way back. Focusing on staying alive helped me not cry as much as last year!

Saturday, August 15th - Band camp started! And, Sunday, August 16th - Elizabeth asked her to be a bridesmaid!

Monday, August 3rd - Little London Winds - A Musical Passport concert

August 3-8 - Band Camp for Kellen

Thursday, August 6th - Bierstadt with the Pantusas

Friday, August 7th - Jenna's last day of work at The Kids Cabin at Flying Horse

Saturday, August 8th - Last day of band camp preview show. And lunch at MOD - Madilyn served us!
