This was Kellen's first game to really get into the spirit! (See video 0697 in LPHS games folder.)
Can you stand how cute he is?! That left leg kick is a pretty cool move. (See video 0695.)
The next day, Saturday, Sept. 1st, we went to the first Air Force Academy game. All the kids earned free tickets by doing the summer reading program at the library. Madilyn and Kellen let us use their tickets.
My girl and me
The Cadets
After the opening ceremony, they all rush to the stands.
Parachutes
They all landed in the middle of the field and the last one was floating the American Flag behind.
The F-16s
At half time, they released a live falcon that flew a few laps around the stadium. The marching band was smaller than what I expected, but good. A good time was had by all on a perfect day, and the Falcons won!
